Upon arrival at the house rented at Baan Sammi, or if guests are staying overnight, Khun Sam (Mr. Samran Apaipong) as the landlord (or the landlord's representatives), must report their stay to the Immigration Authorities in Chiang Mai within 24 hours, as required by Thai law (TM30 report). This requirement applies to non-Thai nationals, also termed 'aliens'. If a report to Chiang Mai Immigration has already been made for a tenant/guest in Baan Sammi, but they then leave Thailand (e.g., for a visa run or any visit abroad), Khun Sam (or his representatives) must make a new report to Chiang Mai Immigration immediately upon the tenant's return to Baan Sammi.
Mr. Thammarat Boonthammee is the main representative or house rental manager of Baan Sammi. It is his duty to report your stay online to the Immigration Authorities in Chiang Mai.
To execute his duty, Mr. Thammarat requires a photo of the picture page of the passport from every (non-Thai) tenant or overnight guest. The photo must be sent to him online without delay. The contact details for this are:

Once the picture page has been sent, the tenant/guest is asked to notify Khun Sam and/or Khun Dieter; both are residing at Baan Sammi.
If a tenant/guest stays in Thailand for longer than 90 days, or is expected to stay for longer than 90 days, they will, upon request, be sent confirmation of their registration report with the Immigration Department, usually also online as a PDF, JPG, or PNG file. We recommend printing this document and placing it in your passport. In addition to your passport, this document is required when the tenant or guest makes their own 90-day report with the Immigration Department.
The form TM30 should not be confused with the form TM47, the 90-day report: "FORM FOR ALIEN TO NOTIFY OF STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS (TM47)". Reporting TM30 to Immigration is the duty of the landlord; reporting TM47 is the sole duty of the tenant (or any foreigner staying longer than 90 days in Thailand).
