26 — Children
- Due to our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests, we have a policy of only exceptionally accepting guests with children (aged up to 12 years) at Baan Sammi. This decision is made with careful consideration of the child's age and the level of care they require, as these factors are crucial in determining the suitability of their visit and stay.
- Infants under the age of 2 years may only be accommodated if they are under the permanent care of their parents. Suitable accommodation is available at Plumeria Bungalow and Lychee Lodge. Parents are advised to ensure that infants are kept away from electrical sockets, as they do not have a safety plate. We regret that we are unable to supply a crib. There is no additional charge for an infant. Please pay particular attention to the instructions in the chapter about pets.
- Children 2–12 years of age: The Baan Sammi property is not suitable for children aged between two and 12 years old. If we grant an exception for a stay, the parent(s) must stick to our agreement terms. An agreement is required prior to booking. Upon arrival, we will show you the equipment and facilities in the houses and the exterior that might be dangerous if used or touched by children of these ages. Parents are fully responsible for any misuse, damage, or harm. Suitable houses for a stay are Plumeria Bungalow and Lychee Lodge only. Please pay particular attention to the instructions in the chapter about pets.
- Adolescents aged between 13 and 16 years are generally permitted to stay at Baan Sammi, provided there is sufficient reason to believe that they will understand and obey the rules. They can stay at a special rental rate if they accept accommodation with a camp bed instead of a regular bed. Any house would be suitable for a stay.
