26 — Children
- For safety reasons, we only exceptionally accept guests with children (aged up to 12 years) at Baan Sammi. When making this decision, we take into account the amount of care required for the child and the behavior of the child; both are essentially dependent on the child's age.
- Infants under 2 years can stay only if they are under permanent care by their parents. Suitable houses are Plumeria Bungalow and Lychee Lodge. Parents need to keep the infants off the electric sockets as they do not have a safety plate. We cannot supply a crib. There is no accommodation charge for an infant. Please pay particular attention to the instructions in the chapter about pets.
- Children 2–12 years of age: The Baan Sammi property is not very suitable for children of these ages, and if we grant an exception for a stay, the parent(s) need to stick to our agreement terms. An agreement is required prior to booking. Upon your arrival, we will show you equipment and facilities in the houses and the exterior that might be dangerous if used or contacted by children of these ages. Nevertheless, the parents are fully responsible for any misuse, damage, or harm. Suitable houses for a stay are Plumeria Bungalow and Lychee Lodge only. Please pay particular attention to the instructions in the chapter about pets.
- Adolescent persons 13–16 years old: Provided there is sufficient reason to believe that they will understand and obey the rules, they are generally allowed to stay at Baan Sammi. They can stay at a special rental rate if they accept accommodation with a camp bed instead of a regular bed. Any house would be suitable for a stay.
