9 — House and Property Utilities, Facilities, Services

  1. In Chapters 8 to 11 in the blog Details of Rental Terms, you can find information on house utilities and housing facilities, property utilities and facilities, house services, and property services. Please, carefully read these chapters to avoid any misunderstanding. 
  2. If you are missing in your rented home any of the stuff described in these chapters, please, let us know in person, or contact us by phone or email.
  3. Shared stuff is stored at different huts close to houses and must be returned to the same place after use. 
  4. Some utilities, facilities, and services of Baan Sammi are free of charge, others are offered at a cost price, and external services usually have to be paid directly to the service supplier (cash or online). 
  5. Money box
    Those services at Baan Sammi that are offered at a cost price can be paid in cash. As in nearly all such cases, the amount due is low, you are requested to put the money into our money box, recognizable by its unique bear design, and located on the chest of drawers on the right in front of the entrance door of the Clerodendrum Chalets.
  6. If you receive a service from outside Baan Sammi (e.g., postal delivery service, delivery of goods, delivery of ready meals) please make sure that you have given the deliverer the correct house number and, if necessary, a telephone number. Explanations can be found in the document “How a Thai Address is Composed”; the link to this document can be found in Chapter 35 (Postal Address) in this House Manual.
  7. When goods, most of which are parcels, are delivered to Baan Sammi, any resident of Baan Sammi can usually receive the goods. After the goods have been delivered, they will then be stored on a shelf in the bike port (next to the main entrance gate), and the person who ordered the goods can occasionally pick them up there.

  8. In the case of payment on delivery of the goods, the customer must deposit the exact amount of money to be paid upon receipt in a folder in advance. The folder is on the shelf in the bike port and remains there. Every resident who receives the goods being paid for to the deliverer can take the money from the folder and hand it to the deliverer.
